BACHELOR OF MANAGEMENT STUDIES (B.M.S.)

Management is defined as the art of getting things done through People. Taking up B.M.S programme for study is an unmistakable stepping stone towards developing this art. B.M.S is a three year full time course which is divided into six semesters. In these six semesters, students study a wide variety of subjects such as Finance, Management, Managerial Economics, Research, Production and quality management, Marketing and Brand management etc. During their second year of B.M.S programme at V.V.U.C, we offer students to opt their subject of specialization (Finance or Marketing). A B.M.S graduate can pursue further studies such as Masters of Business Administration (MBA), Masters of Management Studies (MMS), Masters in Financial Management (MFM) and many more. A B.M.S graduate can start his career as a Management trainee in the field of Finance, Marketing, Human Resource, Operations, Banking, Retail and so on.

The B.M.S. course shall be a full time course. The duration of the course shall be six semesters spread over three years.

Eligibility

Bachelor of Management Studies

3941: “A candidate for being eligible for admission to the Bachelor of Management StudiesDegree Course shall have passed HSC Examination of the  Maharashtra State Board of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination or Diploma course in any Engineering Branches with two years or three years after S.S.C. conducted by the Board of Technical Education, Maharashtra State or its equivalent examination by securing minimum 45% for general category (IN ONE ATTEMPT) at the respective Examination and 40% marks for the reserved category (IN ONE ATTEMPT).”

OR

Students passing Diploma in Administration Services (Commercial and Secretarial Practices) conducted by Premila Vithaldas Polytechnic, S.N.D.T. Women’s University are eligible for admission to F.Y.B.M.S.

Admission Procedure: On the basis of aggregate marks at H.S.C. Every candidate admitted to the Degree Course in the Constituent / Affiliated Colleges recognized institution, conducting the course, shall have to register himself/herself with the University.
